I am a cell biologist with 10+ years of experience investigating the pathophysiology of cardiometabolic diseases including atherosclerosis and type 2 diabetes. I display high levels of independent and creative thinking, but embrace and thrive working closely and collaboratively with people from all disciplines. I am passionate about developing a better understanding of the immune system and metabolism and translating these discoveries into novel therapies to tackle not only cardiometabolic diseases, but all forms of chronic illness increasingly prevalent around the world.

- Comparing small molecule approaches, acknowledging that small molecules are uniquely capable of accessing central nervous system or spinal tissues to assess whether modality selection could unlock improved disease modification in CIDP
- Aligning anatomical access considerations with translational modelling, ensuring that preclinical systems reflect the compartments drugs must reach to improve the predictive value of translational research in peripheral neuropathies
